FireROD

The Story of the fireROD -
We met the Exotac team at the 2011 Blade Show in Atlanta Georgia and we became fast friends. We loved their gear and they really liked the idea of our Evolution Fire Tool so much so that we teamed up to create the fireROD. Because of this relationship and collaboration every fireROD will have both the Exotac and Habilis logo.

The Idea behind the fireROD -
The fireROD was designed to be the perfect sized fire tool for carry in the ferro loop on your knife sheath
or on a keychain as part of an Every Day Carry kit.
The fireROD was also designed to include the advantages of having a waterproof tinder capsule for it's
handle and a rod that is replaceable. This way you will always have dry tinder available and a fire tool
that can be renewed instead of thrown away when the rod wears out.

For tinder we recommend cotton balls that have been coated with petroleum jelly
